On 13th March 2009, the “Promotion Conference on Nanjing Software Industry” was held in Dublin, Ireland. The Conference was chaired by Mr. Kraken Yu, CEO of Cornerstone International Corporation in Ireland. Over 40 attendees including representatives from Irish business circles and members from the Nanjing Delegation participated in the Conference.
Mr. Xu Zhengbing, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy attended the Conference and made a keynote speech on the environment of software industry in Ireland as well as opportunities for cooperation between software industries of both countries.
Other speakers include Madam Wang Yonghong, Deputy Mayor of Nanjing, Mr. John Whelan, CEO of Irish Exporters Association, Mr. Wang Liming, Director of Confucius Institute for Ireland, etc.
