| Vice Minister of SAIC Mr. Wang Dongfeng visits Ireland |

At the invitation of the National Consumer Agency of Ireland, Mr. Wang Dongfeng, Vice Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) of China paid an official visit to Ireland from 25th to 27th September 2007. During his visit, Mr. Wang had a meeting with Mr. John Shine, Director of the National Consumer Agency of Ireland. The two sides introduced the basic functions of their respective administration, the legislations and practices on consumer protection in each country, and exchanged views on issues of mutual concern in the filed of consumer protection. Chinese Ambassador Mr. Liu Biwei and Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr. Xu Zhengbing accompanied the delegation to the meeting.
